If the British weather won’t provide the summer heat, The Desert Plaza certainly will with their debut EP To Hell With Love out now.

Formed in 2023, THE DESERT PLAZA came together following vocalist Luca’s move to London from Modena, Italy – chasing his dream of forming a band and sharing his passion for creating something original. In their early stages, the music already caught the attention of respected producers Julian Emery (Nothing But Thieves, The Amazons) and Paul Stacey (Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Oasis), underlining the band’s potential.

They bring a blend of modern clean production with an indie rock summer sentiment, combining influences from The Killers, Nothing But Thieves and Catfish & The Bottlemen. Vocals from Luca Zanni feel like a lived in familiar quality, a comforting grit that anchors the drifting summer drenched dreamy arrangements from the textured guitars and melodic synths. He easily takes you from internal thoughts to arena sized hope in one breath.

With lyrics throughout that are self reflecting and honest from their darker track The Story, highlighting light within darkness and self reflection, the catchy anthemic chorus will awaken a feeling of freedom and organic growth. A personal favourite track is Hate To See You Go, a powerful anthemic summer feeling with dopamine satisfying, controlled vocals from Luca and a sophisticated weight to the lyrics to keep you captivated. This song would easily fill you with summer feelings of adventure, hope and regeneration.

Frontman Luca Zanni explains about their newest release The Ride, which is the concluding track from the new EP:

“This one is an ode to life and youth. Living fast and fully with no fear of the future, which will teach you a lesson you’re yet to be taught.”
