After more than a decade away, the post-hardcore favourites are back with Cove Reber and a track that feels less like a comeback and more like a bold new beginning.

Saosin have unveiled ‘Starting Over Again’, their first new music in over 10 years, and their first with vocalist Cove Reber back in the fold in even longer, and it’s safe to say they haven’t missed a step.

Reber rejoined the band in 2024, having previously fronted their 2006 self-titled album and 2009’s In Search Of Solid Ground. Since then, the band’s only full-length release has been 2016’s Along The Shadow, which saw original vocalist Anthony Green return to the mic.

Now, ‘Starting Over Again’ marks a fresh chapter – and it hits hard. Expansive, emotionally charged and bursting with melody, it’s the kind of anthem that reminds us exactly why Saosin matter. There’s a sense of purpose running through every note; this isn’t nostalgia, it’s a band reigniting their spark and pushing forward with intent.

The track also serves as their first release via Sumerian Records, hinting that something much bigger could be on the way.

Speaking on the single, the band explain:

“‘Starting Over Again’ is our first new music in over a decade, and it came from the fans calling for it and us realising the timing finally felt right. The chemistry in this lineup is undeniable, and everything just clicked. This song is exactly what the title says – a reset, but with more clarity, more urgency, and way more fire behind it. It feels like the start of something big for us, not a throwback, but a step forward.”
