Celebrating two decades of ‘Count Your Blessings’, Bring Me The Horizon have reworked the album from the ground up, and will take it to the stage in full this July

Bring Me The Horizon have unveiled a 20th anniversary re-recording of their debut album ‘Count Your Blessings’, alongside plans to perform the record in full at Outbreak Festival later this year.

Originally released in 2006, the album introduced the band’s ferocious deathcore sound to a global audience, featuring standout tracks like ‘Pray For Plagues’, ‘Slow Dance’ and ‘A Lot Like Vegas’. Now, two decades on – and with the band firmly established as festival headliners – they’re revisiting the record with a fresh perspective.

Set for release on July 10, ‘Count Your Blessings | Repented’ has been fully re-recorded and reimagined. Rather than serving as a nostalgic look back, the band describe it as a “reactivation” and “recontextualisation” of the original.

Led by Oli Sykes and Lee Malia, and with mixing handled by Buster Odeholm, the project sees the band reshape their debut into something “reborn, sharper, heavier, and more vital than ever.”

The revamped tracklist leans into the raw intensity of the original while benefiting from two decades of experience and modern production. Notably, ‘Liquor & Lost Love’ appears under its original working title, ‘Dragon Slaying’.

The band will bring the reworked album to the stage at Outbreak Festival on July 10 at Manchester Arena, where they’re set to perform ‘Count Your Blessings’ in full.
