Viatorem have dropped a new single, Ecocide.

Building on recent singles Nakba, which the band say targets the Palestinian genocide, and Kill Your Idols, which takes aim at the global elite, the two tracks have racked up over 250k views between them. Ecocide continues that run of outspoken political songwriting, this time turning its attention to the corporate elite driving the planet’s destruction.

Where Kill Your Idols channelled pure anger, Ecocide takes a more technical approach. Clean swells in the first verse bring clarity and focus, setting up a shift in dynamics before delivering the crushing heaviness Viatorem have become known for. The lyrics stay just as direct, naming those responsible for the climate crisis and calling for their profits, not just their reputations, to take the hit.
