Marking their first release for Epitaph Records, the record lands on June 12 and follows the bandโ€™s 2023 indefinite hiatus. Frontwoman Sam Quartin reflects on the break candidly: โ€œWe hit a ceiling with the cycle of funding our own records and then barely breaking even on tour.โ€

What seemed like a full stop turned into a fresh start. After revealing they were stepping away, the band were buoyed by the outpouring of support from us – and by an unexpected boost from Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, who reportedly reached out to help finance the new album.

โ€œThat was such a gift for us,โ€ Sam says. โ€œIt made the whole experience of making the record a lot lighter.โ€

Offering a first taste of whatโ€™s to come, the quartet have shared the explosive title-track. โ€œThis song feels like a diary entry that Iโ€™m letting strangers read – itโ€™s kinda weird to share, but fuck it,โ€ Sam explains. Inspired by late โ€™90s hip-hop and nu-metal, the band worked with producer Dave Sardy to capture that eraโ€™s punch and swagger. โ€œWe told Dave that sound was our goal – that kinda feel.โ€
