
The British heavy metal titans Iron Maiden have unveiled details of their long-awaited documentary, Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition.

Iron Maiden have officially revealed their brand-new documentary film, Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition.
Arriving in cinemas from May 7, 2026, the film is directed by Malcolm Venville and produced by Dominic Freeman. Alongside in-depth appearances from bandmembers Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Bruce Dickinson, Janick Gers and retired drummer Nicko McBrain, the documentary also features longtime manager Rod Smallwood.
The film includes contributions from a host of notable names, including Javier Bardem, Lars Ulrich and Chuck D.
According to the official synopsis: โWith unprecedented access to official band archives, Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition charts five decades of one of the most iconic journeys in music history. Featuring interviews with the band and contributors such as Javier Bardem, Lars Ulrich and Chuck D, this electrifying film offers an intimate look at their uncompromising vision and unwavering connection with their global army of fans.โ
