Rock En Seine has revealed the previously unannounced Thursday 27 August lineup, confirming that day will be headlined by Lorde. The New Zealand-born global pop star will top the bill for whatโ€™s shaping up to be one of the weekendโ€™s standout moments.

Sheโ€™ll be joined on Thursday by Djo โ€“ the musical project of Joe Keery โ€“ whose indie-pop sound sits somewhere between The Strokes and Tame Impala. Australian multi-instrumentalist Tash Sultana is also set to perform, bringing their genre-blurring blend of pop, R&B and soul, alongside Paris-based Sam Quealy, whose fearless mix of futuristic pop and hybrid techno continues to turn heads.

Friday 28 August sees three major new names added to the lineup. Wet Leg are set to deliver their sharp, high-energy indie rock, while Wilco return to prove why they remain one of the most enduring and influential bands in American indie music. CMAT also joins the bill, with the Dublin songwriter bringing her acclaimed indie pop shot through with country flair.

Saturday 29 August gets another boost with Mannequin Pussy, who will bring their ferocious punk-noise sound from Philadelphia, alongside New York electroclash breakout Fcukers and Californiaโ€™s AFI, whose emo-hardcore live shows are renowned for their intensity.

Tickets for Thursday 27 August go on sale on Thursday 29 January at 12pm CET via rockenseine.com and AXS, before becoming available from usual outlets on Saturday 31 January.
