After dropping a few cryptic hints last week, Jimmy Eat World have officially confirmed a run of special shows to honor 25 years of their beloved 2001 album Bleed American.

The band will celebrate the milestone next August with dates in Halifax, Cardiff and London, the final stop becoming the biggest UK headline performance of their career.

Reflecting on the anniversary, frontman Jim Adkins shares: “When we printed the last mix of Bleed American, we felt like we had achieved something great for ourselves. We had no idea how people outside the studio would connect with it, and we’re still amazed by the life these songs have taken on. Bleed American belongs just as much to you as to us, so we want to mark the moment together in a truly special way.”

Supporting them throughout the run are Rise Against and The Get Up Kids, with Jay Som joining the Cardiff and London lineups. Tickets go on general sale this Friday, December 5 at 10am.
