Spiritual Cramp have released a new single and video, ‘Young Offenders’.

The track is the latest preview of their forthcoming second album, ‘RUDE’, out October 24th on Blue Grape Music. A DEVO-addled, high-energy blast, the song pulses with electronics and a stuttery bridge, all underpinned by the band’s signature fist-pumping punk chorus. It arrives with an equally fun and campy Sean Stout-directed video starring the band on a faux late night show, complete with a live studio audience.

After perfecting their kaleidoscopic take on punk, the band has entered a new era for ‘RUDE’, expanding the songwriting duties across the entire group. Produced by Grammy Award-winner John Congleton, mixed by Carlos de la Garza, and featuring a duet with Sharon Van Etten, the album feels like a massive level up, blending new wave burn, indie rock swagger, old-school punk, and even dub and hip-hop flourishes.

The band has also announced a 24-date North American tour in support of the album. Kicking off February 17th in San Diego, the tour will make stops in Austin, DC, Brooklyn, Toronto, Cleveland, San Francisco and many more before wrapping March 21st with a Los Angeles show at the Teragram Ballroom.

Various pre-sales for the tour begin today with public on sale starting this Friday August 22nd.
