HOT MILK – Forest Session, Wednesday
After blowing the roof off The Axiom Stage last year, Hot Milk are making a triumphant return to 2000 Trees – this time headlining the iconic Forest Stage on the Wednesday for any early birds in attendance. It might be the festivalโs smallest stage, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in pure, intimate magic. Straight off the back of the release of Corporation P.O.P and some monster shows supporting the likes of Green Day, theyโre sure to have something special up their sleeve. Known for their incredible live energy, I think itโs safe to say we will see the forest turned on its head as Hot Milk dawn on 2000 Trees this year.
THE XCERTS – Forest Session, Wednesday
A quintessential favourite for 2000 Trees veterans, The Xcerts returned last year with a heartfelt Forest Session celebrating ten years of their album, There Is Only You. Their set was packed with emotional highs and raw, honest energy, they embody everything 2000โฏTrees stands for, intimacy, passion, and community spirit. Theyโre back again this year with yet another forest session on the Wednesday, you can expect this yearโs performance to be another spineโtingler, full of singalongs and euphoria.
KNEECAP – MainStage, Thursday
Fresh off their historical set at Glastonbury, mixing politically driven lyrics with baselines and a cheeky bit of Irish banter, Kneecap are set to bring an unapologetic, in your face energy to 2000 Trees next week. Whether you love or hate them, you canโt deny their volcanic presence. One of the most important voices on the music scene right now, we cannot wait to see them live and see what they bring to the 2000 Trees MainStage.
PVRIS – MainStage, Thursday
Fresh off their 10-year White Noise anniversary tour, PVRIS are still leading the charge in alt-rock – and theyโre cementing that status with a huge co-headline slot at this yearโs 2000 Trees. Front woman Lynn Gunnโs powerhouse vocals promise a set full of goosebumps, big anthems, and moments to scream and dance your heart out. From their dark, electronic roots to their current blend of alt-rock and pop, PVRIS have built a name on raw emotion and honesty, delivering immersive, high-impact performances every time they take the stage. If you’re after a set that hits just as hard emotionally as it does sonically, PVRIS wonโt let you down.
SNAYX – MainStage, Thursday
A Brighton based trio on a meteoric rise, Snayx have quickly become known for their explosive live shows full of gritty riffs, sweaty pits, and snarling charisma to go with it all. Their blend of punk and dance, wrapped up with a raw and chaotic energy makes Snayx the perfect sonic spark to ignite 2000 Trees next week. If youโre looking for a set to get a little feral to on a Thursday afternoon, or just some good ol punk mayhem with a fresh twist, Snayx is not one to be missed!
LA DISPUTE – Forest Session, Friday & The Axiom, Saturday
With not one but two sets lined up, thereโs plenty of chance to get down and sad with La Dispute next week at 2000 Trees. If they havenโt crossed your radar yet (seriouslyโhow?!), think post-hardcore storytelling with some of the most emotionally loaded lyrics out there. Masters of spoken word wrapped in raw, hardcore energy, La Dispute are bound to take us on an emotional rollercoaster. Iโll be there crying – and letโs be honest, I wonโt be the only one. Every lyric is sure to act like a confession, with each song triggering a collective catharsis. With their first album in six years and some emotional anthems in their arsenal, their sets promise to be an intimate affair we sure wonโt be missing.
TRASH BOAT – Friday, MainStage
With a back catalogue that swings from pop-punk anthems to snarling post-hardcore cuts, Trash Boat have carved out a sound that thrives in the chaos of a live setting. Their set promises to be a heavy-hitting burst of energy for your Friday afternoon. Whether youโre screaming along or losing your mind in the pit, Trash Boat are here to shake 2000 Trees to it’s roots.
HERIOT – Friday, The Cave
One of the very best heavy and most exciting UK bands on the rise right now, Heriot are bringing the fury to 2000 Trees this year. Their signature crushing, industrial-tinged metal sound has been setting festival stages ablaze, drawing critical praise for their unrelenting intensity. Debbie Goughโs vocals hit like a sledgehammer, and the bandโs dynamic sound fuses brutality with eerie, atmospheric tension. Their 2024 debut album Devoured By The Mouth of Hell, making it into our top 10 albums of the year, showed just how much theyโve refined their sound. With the buzz around them continuing to build at an exponential rate, you can expect their set at 2000 Trees to be nothing short of apocalyptic – in the very best way.
WITCH FEVER – NEU Stage, Friday
Young, feral and unapologetically punk, WitchโฏFever are the modern riot grrrl spirit incarnate. With raw vocals, snarled guitars, and unstoppable attitude, theyโre primed and ready to kick up some mosh pits and channel rebellion. Think jagged, dangerous yet seductive energy meet unapologetic performance art.
ALEXISONFIRE – MainStage, Saturday
A personal favourite of mine, Canadian post-hardcore kings Alexisonfire are set to deliver one of the standout sets of the weekend – and we wouldnโt expect anything less. Having reunited to release Otherness in 2022 – their first album in over a decade, and most recently Death Letter in 2024 – theyโve reignited their fire onstage, bringing with them a career-spanning legacy that shaped a generation of alternative music fans. Their shows are a force of nature, with Dallas Greenโs haunting melodies clashing beautifully against George Pettitโs screams. If youโve never seen them live before, prepare to be converted; if you have, you already know theyโre going to bring absolute carnage to the MainStage at 2000 Treesโฆ
LETLIVE – MainStage, Saturday
Despite officially disbanding in 2017, Letliveโs legacy still looms large. Fans lost their minds when they were so casually added to the lineup like nothing happened. Jason Aalon Butlerโs explosive stage presence and the bandโs fearless mix of soul, punk, and hardcore has earned them a reputation as one of the best live bands of their era. The โrevisitโ of their 2013 record The Blackest Beautiful, re-released in June, hits like a punch to the gut, and we cannot wait to see it come to life on stage. Itโs sure to be part sermon, part riot, a raw, chaotic, and unforgettable return that fans have waited years for.
VUKOVI – MainStage, Saturday
Still riding the high from the release of their monstrous album MY GOD HAS GOT A GUN, Vukovi are primed and ready to return to 2000 Trees. With a new weapon in their arsenal of ferocious and emotionally raw tracks, coupled with heavy riffs and a cinematic flair they’re ready to take the next step of playing the MainStage this year. Live, they just keep building momentum. With multiple sold out shows on their headline tour earlier in the year that tripled their audience capacity, you can expect Vukovi to command festival crowds with ferocity.
