2024 marked two decades since the release of Atreyuโs breakthrough sophomore album,ย The Curse, which to thos day remains a fan favourite. To commemorate the milestone, the band performed the album in full at a special one-off show at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California, back in October. However, the event sparked mixed reactions among fans, as original vocalist Alex Varkatzasโwho sang onย The Curseโleft the band in 2020. Drummer Brandon Saller, now handling lead vocals, took on the challenge of singing the iconic tracks, which some found an unusual choice.
Undeterred by the lineup changes, Atreyu extended their celebration by touring Australia with Memphis May Fire in July, playing The Curse in its entirety. Now, theyโve announced another round of anniversary performancesโdubbed the 20+1 anniversary tourโset to hit the UK and Europe in 2025. The tour kicks off in Bristol, UK, in late September and concludes in Hamburg, Germany, in October.
