The evening opened with the impressive Conjurer, a sludge and post-metal group from Rugby, England. Their shifts between melodic guitars and soft vocals into heavy, substantial riffs paired with deep, harsh vocals set a strong tone. They performed much of their new 2025 album โ€˜Unselfโ€™.

Next came the anticipated Portuguese band Gaerea. Their current tour highlight is their new album Loss,ย 2026, beginning with Luminary. ย After Conjurer, they met them right in the middle: harsh guitars, vocals, and fast drums.ย ย

They went on to play a good majority of their new album and some old favourites. Which the Glasgow crowd had a blast listening to.

Gaerea have a fantastic on-stage presence. The way the singer moves with the music is almost instinctual, like it canโ€™t be helped. It makes watching them an absolute treat.

Gaerea ended the night with the last song on their new album, โ€˜Stardustโ€™. I felt being there it was the perfect song to have as an ending to their set. Quite an emotional song to end the night, but their show is quite an experience to remember.
