Miss May I are taking aim at the people who profit from other people’s time and hard work with their furious new single, Highbrow Thieves.

The track arrives alongside an animated video that explores the exhausting reality of working yourself into the ground while someone else reaps the rewards.

“Highbrow Thieves is written from the perspective of someone worked to the bone, taking orders from people with no remorse for who they’re giving them to,” explains vocalist Levi Benton. “The thieves here aren’t after riches or objects, what they’re really stealing is something far more valuable: Time.”

Highbrow Thieves is the latest track to emerge from Miss May I’s forthcoming album, No Place For Me, which lands October 2 via Solid State Records.

The new single follows previously released tracks Death Threat, Hand Me A Halo, Pray For Silence and Die On The Vine.
