La Dispute turn a sold-out electric ballroom into a night nobody in the room will forget

La Dispute descended on Camden’s Electric Ballroom on with a sold-out crowd packed so tightly it felt less like a concert and more like a congregation. The Grand Rapids five-piece, riding the wave of last year’s long-awaited No One Was Driving The Car, gave London the kind of set that reminds you why you got into live music in the first place, Jordan Dreyer a constant force of nature at the front, spinning and lurching through every word while the band behind him swung between controlled chaos and something approaching grace. This is a group that has always believed the live show matters as much as the record, and on a night like this, it showed.
