There might be No Love in LA but there was an abundance of love for the Palaye Royale boys in Birmingham on the final night of their Death or Glory tour.

The night was kick started by The Molotovs, a fresh band coming through in 2025 with gritty performances of their debut single โ€œMore More Moreโ€ and the title track from their upcoming debut album โ€œWasted On Youth,โ€ out in January 2026. The sibling band captivated the audience with their stage presence, guitar riffs and crowd interactions, a band to definitely be keeping an eye on.

Next up there was a hum of anticipation in the crowd as the lights went down and The Hunna entered the stage, taking it upon themselves to rile the crowd up ready for the evening. Frontman Ryan questioned the crowd, โ€œAre you ready to level the f*** up Birmingham?โ€ and Birmingham answered in style. From bouncing around the stage, screaming relatable lyrics with headbanging rhythms to ending their set with an energetic circle pit, this band knows how to handle a stage and a crowd. The Hunna told the audience they are on their headline tour later in the month and I would urge everyone to go and experience their live shows for themselves โ€“ they are not one to miss.

Then it was time for the crowd to pack in closer, anticipating the main act, the reason we were all in the room. The Death or Glory stage is a two-story masterpiece creating the atmosphere of being in a grassroots bar with band posters and neon stage lights. The academy lights go down, the crowd is ready, a beat begins to thump its way through. The band enters stage right with the Palaye Royale brothers bringing their personal style to the stage. Sebastian swaggers out with his guitar ready to rock their anthems, Emerson saunters across the stage with his drink in hand, stopping by the mic to welcome the crowd before he heads up to the second story of the set. The music starts to ramp up, the drums kick in to their opening song โ€œDeath or Glory,โ€ and when the beat drops, Remington flies through the red door centre stage and the crowd erupts.

The boys waste no time getting to the theatrics with stage-wide sparklers blasting off during the first song. Throughout the show, fun was the main agenda, from inflatable balloons flying around the academy to Remington crowd surfing in a rubber boat, putting his full trust in his fans. The torchlights were brought out for โ€œDying in a Hot Tub,โ€ with the crowd swaying to the flow of the fan favourite. The energy then picks up again as we dive into โ€œPretty Strangerโ€ and their 2018 hit โ€œYouโ€™ll Be Fine,โ€ which has the audience screaming along with every word. They round out their main set dedicating โ€œFever Dreamโ€ to their mom, and we pay our respects by singing along with Remington.

The show finishes with a game of band peekaboo; the crowd thrive in the theatrics, chanting โ€œone more songโ€ until the band reappear. They close with โ€œMister Devilโ€ and โ€œFor You,โ€ followed by a thank-you speech from Sebastian naming and thanking every member of their crew behind the scenes who made the tour possible.

With the night being the finale, the band were visibly emotional and appreciative of us and the love and support they receive worldwide that has brought them to this point of closing the tour in Birmingham. The evening was a room full of energy and love for a band adored by us all.

The 18-month tour has taken the band around the world, headlining arenas and playing to hundreds of thousands of people on mainstage festivals such as Download. The Palaye Royale team have had a fantastic tour of this album, and Birmingham brought the energy to send the band off in style. Palaye Royale have never disappointed with a live show, and we canโ€™t wait to see what they come back with after a well-deserved break.
