Slam Dunk Festival has unveiled its colossal first wave of artists for 2026, marking two decades of the beloved alternative music celebration.
The anniversary lineup’s crown jewel sees Good Charlotte making their long-awaited return to British soil – their first UK appearances in seven years. The pop-punk veterans will deliver a European exclusive performance following their recent comeback record, Motel Du Cap, released this past August.
“We are excited to come back and play the UK for the first time in seven years and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Slam Dunk will be a great time,” the band shares. “Kicking off this next chapter of GC in the UK this way will be a lot of fun and a great precursor for what is still to come! Some of our favourite shows in our career have been in the UK and this will be no exception!”
Another historic moment comes with Sublime taking the stage for their inaugural UK performance. The California ska-punk icons join a stellar roster including PRESIDENT, Bury Tomorrow, Taking Back Sunday (commemorating Louder Now’s 20th birthday), Dashboard Confessional, The Menzingers, Tonight Alive, Stand Atlantic, and Motion City Soundtrack.
Festival founder Ben Ray reflects on reaching this remarkable milestone: “When I started the festival 20 years ago, I had no idea it would get to the milestone of 20 years, let alone be the size that it has grown to. I am overwhelmed by the continued support for the event, both from the dedicated fanbase who come every single year, to all the bands that keep coming back to play. A massive thank you to all!”
Slam Dunk Festival 2026 takes place at Hatfield Park on Saturday, May 23 and Leeds Temple Newsam on Sunday, May 24.
Tickets go on sale this Saturday, September 27 from 10am.
