Social media possesses the extraordinary ability to both elevate and undermine a career. Witchz, a dynamic and trailblazing artist hailing from Las Vegas, has recently captured the spotlight with their electrifying debut show in the UK.

With a staggering half a million monthly listeners and a masterful cover of “Smells Like Teen Spirit” racking up millions of Spotify streams, Witchz is only beginning to carve out their space in the music world. Their distinctive sound—a mesmerising fusion of bass-heavy alt-pop, electronic phonk, and the wistful echoes of southwestern nostalgia—has sparked a significant buzz, inviting listeners to perceive them as a shadow dancing on the periphery or a reflection shimmering in still water, igniting the imagination.

Since their entrance onto the scene, Witchz has unveiled a captivating array of hit tracks, including ‘Killem’ and ‘The Magick.’ Over an exhilarating 24-song set, the intimate family  affair was enveloped by brooding sounds that conjured memories from ‘The Chain’ and ‘The Crossroads.’ A standout feature of Witchz’s artistry is their knack for crafting original compositions while infusing haunting reinterpretations of timeless classics, exemplified by their spellbinding take on Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit.’ The performance erupted with euphoric moments from tracks like ‘The Algorithm’ and ‘The Simulation,’ sending waves of joy pulsing through the venue.

As the artist proclaimed, “This is my home!” during the electrifying performance of ‘La$ Vega$,’ stunning visuals of the surrounding wilderness and the glimmering allure of Sin City beautifully intertwined, enhancing their vivid storytelling. The debut show at Manchester’s Night and Day Café not only introduced Witchz in an entrancing and atmospheric fashion but also resonated perfectly with the audience’s musical preferences, creating a supernatural harmony that left an indelible mark.
