The night started off with a bit of exercise climbing the four flight of stairs to get to the Garage attic G2 where the Intersphere, Oscura, and The Breathing Method were playing.
The first band on were Oscura – Just think The Smiths, Alterbridge, Deftones with Screams as well., thatโs Oscura. They are from the east coast of Scotland from a town called Ayr. They were an absolute surprising delight, itโs a sound Iโve never really heard before but it tickled my brain listening to them.
The next band on were The Breathing Method. Another band from Ayrshire, they are a bunch of pals that got together and made music for their love of hard rock, grunge, and punk rebellion. They definitely brought the punk and hard rock element that night. They really brought the energy and got everyone hyped up before the Intersphere got on.
The Intersphere are a German prog band with tasteful guitar parts, face smashing drops and masterful drums. Throughout the night when listening to them, I couldnโt stop thinking about the musicianship of every member of the band. There were some parts that just gave me goosebumps when listening to them and how passionate theyโve been about music for the last 15 years or so. They last played in Glasgow alongside Plini and previously with Vola as well. This being their first headline show, they absolutely smashed it out the park and forever will be a fan now if you do get a chance to see a live set of theirs you will not be disappointed and will be left in just awe
