Vukovi came, saw and conquered last night at the SWX, Bristol for an unforgettable evening with support from some of the best and boldest in the alternative scene right now.
Artio opened the night with a bang, effortlessly exciting the crowd with their professional stage presence and impressive sound. Their standout track, ‘Product Of My Own Design’, was a clear fan favorite, getting everyone jumping and moving around.
Next up was unpeople, a band with a truly unique sound that blends upbeat pop influences with intensely heavy vocals. They brought something fresh and exciting to the scene, doing an awesome job of warming up the crowd and paving the way for Vukovi.
Now, for the moment everyone had been waiting for: Vukovi. Playing their new album live in the UK for the first time, the band had fans hyped from the very start. The set kicked off with three tracks from the new album, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Vukovi then seamlessly mixed in older hits like Lasso and Mercy Kill, which went down just as well.
A standout moment came when vocalist Janine took a seat on the edge of the stage to perform the angelic track ‘Colour Me In’. This intimate moment, with Janine singing right at the crowd barrier, showcased the bandโs ability to connect with their audience on a personal level. The energy escalated further as Janine leaped into the crowd during a wall of death and later crowd-surfed, much to the delight of fans.
The night was packed with action, featuring multiple circle pits and over 20 crowd surfersโa testament to the bandโs ability to ignite passion in their fans, even in a medium-sized venue.

A special highlight was during their performance of Lasso, when the singer of Artio joined Vukovi on stage, adding an extra layer of excitement and camaraderie to the night.
Vukoviโs performance was a masterclass in energy, connection, and raw talent. They deserve every bit of love their fans show them, and itโs clear this band is destined for even greater heights. The future looks incredibly bright for Vukovi, and I canโt wait to see how huge theyโre going to get.
