Fender is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty with the return of the cult classic Squier Hello Kitty Stratocaster, a fuzz pedal and accessories collection.

Vintage Strat fans might rave about that mythical ’62 slab-board with “claws” in its bridge single-coil tone, but here’s a Strat that truly brings out the claws—at least in theory.

Of course, if it had any, Hello Kitty likely wouldn’t use them; this kitty’s Strat is way too adorable for any mouse-chasing mischief.

Available in pink or white, this playful model features a Hello Kitty pickguard, a matching headstock with Kitty’s face on the peghead, a signature graphic on the back, and charming red dot inlays along the maple fingerboard. Equipped with a single Fender-designed humbucker at the bridge with white bobbins, it’s all set for some seriously cute shredding.

The Squier Hello Kitty Strat, fuzz pedal and accessories are available globally, but if you happen to be in Japan, there is an exclusive MIJ Fender Hello Kitty Strat, available online and from Fender’s flagship retail store in Harajuku, Tokyo, plus an expanded range of Japan-only accessories.
