Set your clocks: there’s officially less than one month until Download Festival reveals more than 60 bands for next year’s line-up

Brace yourself (insert Game Of Thrones meme) Download Festival have just announced the incoming date for their first lineup reveal.

Ahead of next year’s highly-anticipated Donington Park weekender – dubbed DLXXII – the festival have shared that the first big line-up reveal will be held at ‘an exclusive metal gala launch event’ in London on Tuesday, November 12, with the news then of course expected to follow across socials shortly after.

If that wasn’t all, they’ve shared that more than 60 bands and artists will be revealed at this time. Download Festival will take place from June 13 – 15, 2025, with early bird tickets still on sale at a cheaper price up until the night before the first announcement (Monday, November 11).

Naturally the rumours of who will be taking to the hallowed grounds of Donnington Park have circling the internet for a while now. Green Day have been pinned as the biggest potential as 2025 headliners, with the official festival site account tweeting: “Summer is officially over. Wake us up when it’s June.” (Possibly referring to Wake Me Up When September Ends.)
