GRAMMY®-winning titans Evanescence have joined forces with alt-rock powerhouse K.Flay for an electrifying new single, ‘Fight Like A Girl’ — the first end-title track from Ballerina, the hotly anticipated new film set in the John Wickuniverse, dropping June 6 via SONY.
Co-written by Evanescence’s Amy Lee, K.Flay, Dylan Eiland, and Ballerina composer Tyler Bates (who also produced the track), Fight Like A Girl is a blistering rally cry of vengeance, resilience, and raw female power. The track pulses with the same intensity and emotional grit as the film it soundtracks — a brutal, ballet-fueled spin-off starring Ana de Armas as assassin-in-training Eve Macarro.
“This track came at the perfect time,” says Amy Lee. “I know I’m not the only girl ready to dig my heels in and show the world what we’re made of. Collaborating with K.Flay was a dream — she’s one of my favourite artists and brought so much fire to this track.”
K.Flay added: “Amy sent me the demo and I was immediately hyped. I wrote my verse backstage after a show, still buzzing with adrenaline. The film and the song are both about pain, strength, and how we define who we are. What separates the hero from the villain?”
