More names have been added to that year’s Download FestiVal with 22 artists announced including Rise Against, Shinedown, Opeth, Palaye Royale, Hatebreed and Kids In Glass Houses.

The countdown to Download Festival 2025 just got even more exciting! Today the festival has unveiled 22 new additions to the already stacked lineup.

Among the latest names to join the festival bill are Rise Against, Shinedown, Opeth, Palaye Royale, Hatebreed, and Kids In Glass Houses, alongside a slew of heavy hitters including the likes of Myles Kennedy, Municipal Waste, and MOTHICA.

Speaking on the festival senior Download booker Kamran Haq shared “We’re really proud of the variety in our line-up this year. In our second announcement, we have huge artists like Rise Against, Shinedown and Palaye Royale, plus bands from across the whole rock spectrum, from Municipal Waste, Cattle Decapitation, Power Trip and Hatebreed, through to AWOLNATION, Kids In Glass Houses, Twin Atlantic and Elliot Minor.

“We truly think there’s something to suit everyone’s tastes, and of course there are still more surprises to come. We can’t wait for June!”
