Ghost have shared never-before-heard track ‘The Future Is A Foreign Land’, taken from the band’s debut feature film ‘Rite Here Rite Now’.

Taking fans by surprise at the film’s opening night, it’s the third song from the Swedish theatrical rock icons’ timeless 1969 sessions, featuring Papa Nihil fronting an early incarnation of the band

The sole previously unreleased studio track to be included on the movie’s original soundtrack, take a listen to ‘The Future Is A Foreign Land’ below.

‘Rite Here Rite Now’ was directed by the Swedish rock legend’s Tobias Forge, along with Alex Ross Perry.

Shot over the course of Ghost’s two sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, the film fully immerses viewers in the technicolor melodrama of the vaunted live ritual that has helped to propel the band to their stardom.

It’s much more than a mere concert movie though, with a narrative story that picks up plot threads from the band’s long-running Chapters series, featuring renditions of favourites from all five of Ghost’s albums.

The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for the film will be released on July 26 via Loma Vista Recordings.
